Send an In-App Message


In-App Messages allow you to communicate directly with your customers through Studio Growth. You can start a new conversation from a customer's profile or continue an existing conversation from the Inbox.


Send a Message to a New Customer


If you're messaging a customer for the first time:


  • From the side menu, navigate to CRM.
  • Select Customers.


  • Search for and open the customer's profile by clicking on their name.


  • Click Message to start a new conversation.



  • Type your message, then click the send icon.



Note: Once you send a message to a customer for the first time, the conversation will automatically appear in the Inbox, allowing you to continue the conversation without returning to the customer's profile.



Message an Existing Customer


If you've already messaged the customer before:


  • From the side menu, navigate to Communications.
  • Select Inbox.


  • Search for the customer by name.

  • Open the conversation.
  • Type the message and click send icon.



Send an In-App Group Message


You can send a single in-app message to multiple customers at once using the Send Group Message feature.


  • Click Send Group Message next to the search bar.



  • Select the customers you want to send the message to.
    • Alternatively, select All Customers to send the message to your entire customer base.

  • Type your message.
  • Choose when you want the message to be sent:
    • Send Instantly – Delivers the message immediately.
    • Send on a Future Date – Schedules the message to be sent on the selected date and time.
  • Click Send to deliver or schedule the message.


Tip: Use Send Group Message to quickly share announcements, promotions, or important updates with multiple customers without sending individual messages.
