Create an Event


Studio Growth allows you to create and manage single-day events, multi-day events, and retreats. You can configure event details, instructors, ticket types, add-ons, payment options, and tax settings to suit your event requirements.



  • From the side menu, navigate to Events.


  • Click Create Event.



1. Event Details


Configure the basic information for your event.


  • Event Type – Choose whether the event is a Single Event or a Multi-Day/Retreat.
  • Status – Select Draft to save the event without publishing it, or Published to make it available for booking.
  • Event Name – Enter the name of the event.
  • Short Description – Provide a brief overview of the event.
  • Full Description – Enter detailed information about the event.


  • Start Date & Start Time – Specify when the event begins.
  • End Date & End Time– Specify when the event ends. For Multi-Day/Retreat events, you must also select an End Date.
  • Location Type – Choose where the event will take place:
    • In Studio
    • External Venue
    • Online
  • Location – Select or enter the event location.
  • Total Event Capacity – Specify the maximum number of attendees allowed.
  • Thumbnail Image (Optional) – Upload an image to represent the event.
  • Banner Image (Optional) – Upload a banner image for promotional purposes.
  • Click Next.


2. Instructors


  • Assign one or more instructors to the event.(Optional)
  • Click Next.



3. Tickets


Configure the ticket options available for the event.


  • Create one or more ticket types, such as Standard, VIP, or Early Bird.(Click Add Ticket)
  • Set the Price for each ticket type.
  • Specify the number of Tickets Available.
  • Configure the purchase limits:
    • Minimum per Order – The minimum number of tickets a customer must purchase in a single order.
    • Maximum per Person – The maximum number of tickets a single customer can purchase.

Note: Only ticket types marked as Active will be available for customers to purchase. Inactive tickets will remain hidden and cannot be selected during checkout.



4. Add-ons

Offer optional extras that customers can purchase in addition to their event ticket.

  • Click Add Add-on.
  • Enter the Add-on Name.
  • Set the Price.
  • Specify the number of Units Available.
  • Enable Active to make the add-on available for customers to purchase.
  • Click Next.

Examples: Lunch packages, accommodation, merchandise, transportation, or equipment rental.


Note: Add-ons are optional purchases. Customers must pay the additional amount for any add-ons they select during checkout.




5. Event Settings


Configure additional booking, payment, tax, waiver, and registration options for your event.


Waitlist

  • Enable Waitlist – Allow customers to join a waiting list when the event reaches its maximum capacity. If a spot becomes available, customers on the waitlist can be notified or moved into the event.

Payment Options

Configure how customers pay for the event.

  • Enable Deposit – Allow customers to reserve their spot by paying a deposit instead of the full ticket price.
    • Deposit Amount – Specify the amount customers must pay at the time of booking.
    • Charge Balance Before – Specify how many days before the event the remaining balance will be automatically charged.
  • Enable Installments – Allow customers to pay for the event in multiple installments instead of a single payment.
    • Number of Installments – Specify how many payments the total amount will be divided into.
    • Installment Frequency – Choose how often each installment is charged (for example, weekly or monthly).


Tax

  • Customize Tax for This Event – Enable this option to apply a tax specifically for this event instead of using the default event tax configured in Event Settings.

Note: If this option is disabled, the event will use the default tax configured in Event Settings.




Waiver


  • Use a Custom Waiver for This Event – Enable this option to assign a waiver specifically to this event.

Note: If this option is disabled, the event will use the default waiver configured in Event Settings.



Cancellation & Registration

  • Cancellation Deadline – Specify how many hours before the event starts customers are allowed to cancel their registration.
  • Registration Opens At (Optional) – Set the date and time when customers can begin registering for the event. Leave this field blank to allow registrations immediately after the event is published.
  • Review all event settings.
  • Click Create Event to publish the event or Save Draft to save it and continue editing later.


Note: Use Draft status while configuring your event. Once all details, tickets, payment options, and settings have been reviewed, change the event status to Published to make it available for customer registration.
