Integration with Twilio

NOTE:

In order to send and receive SMS's from your customers, you must integrate your StudioGrowth account with Twilio. To do so, you must first create a Twilio account:

  • From here, you can buy a phone number of your choice to integrate with StudioGrowth.
  • Once you have purchased a phone number, go back to your 'Account Dashboard'.
  • Scroll down to access your 'Account Info'. These 3 fields are what you need to complete your integration.

  • Once you have these details, go back to your StudioGrowth account.
  • Access the 'Settings' by scrolling down the side menu.

  • From here, access the 'Integrations' menu.

  • Scroll down and you will find the 'Connect Twilio' section, toggle on the 'Connect Twilio now'. Here you will see the 3 fields required: your Twilio Account SID, Twilio Auth Token and Twilio Phone Number.

  • Once you've filled these with the relevant details, click 'Save' to complete the integration.
  • You can access the customer SMS templates from 'Messaging'->'Engagement' and from 'Messaging'->'Transactional' under the 'Customer' sub-category.

  • Also, you can access the SMS inbox from 'Customers'->'Inbox'. From here, you can send and receive SMS's with all your customers.


  • Alternatively, to message a specific customer, you can go to 'Customers'->'Customer Management'

  • Click the particular customer you want to send the SMS to.

  • From here, click the 'Messages' tab to access the customer specific inbox.
