Apply a Discount Code or Gift Card to an Active Membership

Note: Before applying a Discount Code, you must first create one by navigating to Promotions > Discount Codes. Similarly, before applying a Gift Card, create it by navigating to Promotions > Gift Cards. The customer must have an active gift card assigned to their account before it can be applied to an active membership.

Studio Growth allows you to apply a discount code or gift card to an active membership, making it easy to adjust future membership payments or redeem available gift card balances.



  • From the side menu, navigate to CRM.
  • Select Customers.


  • Search for and open the customer whose membership you want to apply a discount or code or gift card.

  • Navigate to the Passes tab.

  • Select the active membership.
  • Click Apply Promotion.

  • Click on Select discount code or gift card.
  • Select the discount code or gift card you want to apply to the active membership.


Gift Cards: Once applied, the gift card is automatically used for each membership renewal until its balance is fully depleted.

Discount Codes: A discount code is applied for the number of renewal cycles specified when it was created. The discount starts from the next billing cycle and does not apply to the current billing cycle.

  • Click Apply to apply it to the active membership.
