Connecting Stripe Reader to StudioGrowth

NOTE:

The Stripe terminal and the device on which StudioGrowth is being used must to connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

In order to connect your Stripe reader to StudioGrowth, you'll need to have the 'Locations' feature enabled and setup first.

After this:

  • As StudioGrowth uses the JavaScript integration, the supported Stripe readers are the Stripe Reader S700 and the BBPOS WisePOS E. Any other reader is incompatible. For more information, refer to this article: https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/setup-reader
  • After purchasing the Stripe reader, go to 'Settings'->'Business Settings' from the side menu.

  • Under the 'Custom Payment Methods' section, using the '+' button, add 'Stripe Terminal' and click 'Save'.

  • Scroll to the of the page and click 'Save' again.
  • Now, access the 'Locations' tab from the side menu.

  • Under the 'Action' tab of your required location, click the 'Registered Terminal Readers' button.

  • Click 'Register Stripe Terminal' toward the top right of the pop up. Now, enter a 'Label' of your choice, the 'Registration Code' is a 3 word code which shows up when you turn on your Stripe terminal and 'Device Type' is your Stripe terminal version/model.
  • After entering these details, click 'Save'.

  • After this, your Stripe terminal can be used to process payments.
