Configuring Series Management

To configure 'Global Series Settings', go to 'Series'->'Series Management'.



Global Series Settings


The Global Series Settings allow you to configure how bookings, cancellations, and credits are handled for series in StudioGrowth. These settings ensure flexibility for businesses while managing customer expectations. Below is an explanation of each field:




Cutoff Time for Consuming Credits

Specify the number of hours and minutes before a class when credits will be consumed (Cutoff time):

  • This setting determines the time before a scheduled series class in which the customer's credits are automatically consumed.
  • Example: If set to 1 hour, credits will be deducted 1 hour before the series class starts.

NOTE: Bookings will be canceled if the cutoff time is reached and a customer has insufficient credits. Customers will be notified about the cancellation via email.




Booking Lockout Period

Hours and minutes before preventing customers from booking a series:

  • Use this setting to restrict last-minute bookings for a series.
  • Example: If set to 30 minutes, customers won’t be able to book a series within the last 30 minutes before it begins.



Allow Customers to Cancel Individual Bookings

Enable or disable customer cancellation of individual bookings within a series:

  • When enabled, customers can cancel specific classes within the series without affecting other bookings.
  • When disabled, cancellations of individual classes is not permitted.



Allow Customers to Cancel the Entire Series

Enable or disable customer cancellation of the entire series:

  • When enabled, customers can cancel an entire series at once. You can set the number of days before the 'Series Start Date' customers can cancel the series.

  • When disabled, series cancellation will not be permitted.
